Gray clouds lurk over our sunny days, and if, ahem... well if you look at the world through rose colored glasses like me, or as you scroll through your Instagram feed, it seems like many of us are charting a course among the silver linings. Making the right decisions just seems like what should come next. Creativity is being celebrated in new ways and with so many people working from home, productivity is high, and connections have been happening in magical new ways.
This present situation we have found ourselves faced with in this historic year of 2020, has pushed us pretty hard in an unexpected direction. It is obviously crazy, but it is so grounding because we are ALL in it together. It is a shift in our society that is forcing creativity in ways that maybe we did not even know that we could, and giving us the opportunity to make decisions about what we want to do.
With all the noise of the season... Don't Forget to add some CREATIVITY into your Holidaze!

This Sunday, I will be a vendor at another new event, this one in Grayton Beach, the GRAYT VIBES Art & Music Festival! They will be blocking off Hotz Ave. for the day and there will be lots of cool stuff happening throughout the day, live bands, yoga and paddleboard events, along with some great artists and vendors along the street. Come out to celebrate the GRAYT local vibe! Hope to see you there.
ARTWORX @Beachworx and local artist Maxine Orange present the first series of creative workshops at BEACHWORX. This select group of featured area creatives will share their expertise with you, in hopes to provide creative inspiration - an opportunity for anyone and everyone, to open your mind and do something different. No artistic experience is needed. All you have to do is be open to exploring a creative activity - promoting the right kind of fuel for your brain to make new ideas, and a gateway to finding or furthering more creativity in your life. It’s just good for your brain. Challenge yourself to try something different.
